Interstellar travel

Interstellar travel refers to space travel that is beyond our solar system.  Momentum drive concepts as introduced in the Good News Mars and Company momentum physics paper will be the key enabling technology for interstellar and interplanetary travel.  The momentum drive concept provides thrust without the loss of propellant mass and leverages state physics as well as conservation of momentum techniques to provide thrust.

The Momentum Drive does not refer to a specific thruster design or propulsion system.  Momentum drive physics is meant to shed new light on kinematic motion opening us up to a wide variety of propulsion systems which solve the space propulsion problem by providing thrust in space without the loss of propellant mass.
